How to use a tree felling wedge
A Tree felling wedge is a valuable piece of equipment for professional forestry workers and arborists. The main benefit is that it will help to control the direction in which the tree will fall. As always working in a safe manner is the most important part of tree work, and having a selection of wedges to hand should be a given.
A cut is usually made in the side of the tree and then the wedge is placed point side in. Then use a hammer or similar to firmly strike the wedge into the tree.
